I’m an engineer with customer focus

I used to refrain from commenting on my employer until now. But I just can’t help mentioning the customer focus we maintain in the way we work. For a while, I was worried about all those Amazon reviews on QuickBooks 2010. And see how Intuit has responded :)

It is quite reassuring to know that we are not just talk, but we also walk the talk. And all of us know how important it is to feel good about who you work for.

I’m also trying to do my part through community.intuit.com in addressing customer issues. Of course I can help with only those issues that are within the purview of my limited knowledge :) Here is a video tutorial I created to help our customers get started. In fact, here is the Youtube channel I created.

I’m glad that engineers are encouraged to participate in such activities. After all, we know that all the code we write are not sent to vacuum. However cliched it is, I’m a true believer of ‘Customer is King/Queen’.
