Hans Rosling in his video ‘The Joy of Stats’ mentioned this joke on silly correlations:

An American who was wary of heart attacks wanted to find out the cause.

The Japanese eat less fat and drink less wine than the Americans. They were having less number of heart attacks than the Americans. 

The French eat more fat and drink more wine than the Americans. They were also having less number of heart attacks than the Americans.

So what kills an American is speaking English!
